Cold Laser

The image shows a person receiving a laser treatment on their knee, with a focused red light directed at the area for therapeutic purposes.

The main use of cold laser therapy is to repair tissue and provide relief from pain and inflammation. Low-intensity laser therapy heals and stimulates tissue. This technique is called “cold” laser therapy because the low levels of light do not harm your body’s tissue. The body tissue absorbs the light allowing treatment of minor injuries and sprains.
